Local Gem: International/Farmers Market

There are lots of local stores, groups, parks, etc. that can be great resources.

Today's local gem is an International Farmers Market.
The market carries tons of fruits and vegetables, both local and international, with several different varieties of each.  They have fresh, as in still swimming fish, with a fish counter with cleaning services. The market also has natural foods, and my favorite, foriegn sweets and juices.

It's good to know there's a store full of variety and possibilty.

Storytime

Today we ventured to our local library for Storytime!  We had never been before.  They read several books, played some fun songs and had a couple of puppets that came and "met" all of the kids.  It was a good, free outing.

Check out your local library and see if they have a program your kids would enjoy!

Rainy Day Fun!

The pet store.  Need I say more.  Kids love cute little creatures.
Rainy Day Fun!
Plus it lets the kids dream of one day owning a pet...one day...when they've grown-up, live in their own house and can afford a pet.  Just sayin'.

Frozen Yogurt Family Outing

Uncle was wanting a sweet treat tonight so we went on a family outing to get frozen yogurt. (He really wanted donuts but we had coupons for frozen yogurt so that is what we did instead.) Fun and yummy!
