Quick Baked Beans

To go with dinner tonight I made some super easy and quick baked beans.  The recipe is adapted from my favorite "go to" cookbook Better Homes and Gardens.



Quick Baked Beans

1 16 oz can pork and beans
1 15 oz can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbs bacon bits (I use the "real bacon pieces" that you can buy in a jar)
2 Tbsp dried onion
1 tsp mustard

Add all of the ingredients to a medium saucepan and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
